Tried it out last night. Fucking good! It's a little more bitter than I thought it would be but definitely good and drinkable. Swaffer helped me make these labels, they look awesome on the bottles.Saturday, June 28, 2008

Beer Passion
I had a great time in Antwerp. Seemed like a nice city, the cathedral was beautiful. I got to try 7 beers in total(they were strong!) I had my first geuze, very different! My favorites were the Bush Prestige, and the Van Den Bossche Buffalo stout. I got a couple of bottles of Dues bier du Flanders to hold onto for a while and I also got an extra bottle of the buffalo stout to drink since it was so good. All in all, it was awesome, I just wish I brought my camera.Friday, June 20, 2008
the beech is bottled!!

So after 3 days in the secondary, the bubbling slowed to about 2 bubbles a minute. Since we are headed to Antwerp for Beer Passion weekend and then to the Koln zoo on Sunday, I decided to get a jump and bottle tonight. Everything went great, and I even snuck a taste. I'm not commenting because I don't want to sway others either way. It's a little darker than I thought it would be but it's my first all-grain non-the-less.

sandy beech pail ale

Transferred to the secondary yesterday......it's alot less cloudy and foamy as the primary(as you can see.) It's only bubbling about two times a minute...fermentation is slowing. Only another few days in there and I'll bottle. It's a little darker than I expected, but it's still beer! More to come........
ADAC
New

First blog...blah, blah blah. I hope to keep this thing updated as often as possible. Travels, brewing, and daily ramblings. Shitstorm is the name I gave my very small and inexperienced brewing scheme, oh well it's fun. I know it's vulgar.....just letting you know so you don't let me know.....Thanks, kay, bye.
